Chili Verde Recipe with Jake's Chili Starter

For chili verde, add a pack of Jake's Chili Verde at the 30 minute mark of a 1 hour cook. Makes 6 servings.
For competitions, check rules for type of meat, chopped items and beans.
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb chicken or pork, ground or cubed
15 oz chicken broth
1 1/2 cups salsa vetde
15 oz can pinto beans, rinse, drain
1 pack Jake's Chili Verde
DIRECTIONS:
Set timer to 1 hour.
1. In 4 qt pot, lightly brown meat in canola oil for 15 minutes. Drain excess fat.
2. Add broth, salsa verde, and beans. Medium boil 15 minutes, covered.
3. Stir in Jake's. Slow boil 30 minutes, covered.
Salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
